NATURE OF WORK:
The Department of Educational Foundations & Leadership in Duquesne University’s School of Education has a new opportunity to fill a tenure-track faculty position in Educational Leadership at the Assistant Professor level. Salary and terms of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and will include a 12-month salary, vacation, and benefits package.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels in face-to-face and online formats in the Leading Teacher
Program as well as the Ed.D. in
- Educational Leadership Program and the School Administration & Supervision Program
- Advise graduate level students and collaborate with colleagues
- Enhance the research capabilities of the Department and School
- Serve on dissertation committees and eventually serve as Chair of student dissertations
- K-12 school teaching and/or administrative experience are preferred
- University teaching, experience in social foundations, and/or experience in higher education administration
will be viewed positively
REQUIREMENTS OF WORK:
Candidates must have earned a doctoral degree or have successfully defended by the time of appointment. Applicants are expected to demonstrate a potential for excellence in research related to educational leadership.
