Job Summary/Basic Function: The Counseling Program at UNT seeks a senior lecturer with a demonstrated record of strength in teaching and service to support the program’s professional and academic initiatives. The successful candidate will serve a nine-month, non-tenure-track appointment for the 2018-19 academic year. Salary will be commensurate with experience. This is a non-renewable position with part-time teaching in summer 2019 contingent on student demand and funding.

Minimum Qualifications: The candidate must hold a doctorate in counseling or counselor education from a CACREP-accredited program by start of employment. A record of effective teaching and clinical supervision is expected.
Preferred Qualifications: Preferred qualifications include licensure as a Professional Counselor-Supervisor and/or certification as a school counselor in Texas.
