The University of Arkansas at Little Rock seeks a collaborative, innovative, inclusive, and dynamic leader to serve as its next Director of the School of Education. Working with a talented team of education and content faculty and staff, the Director will work in tandem with the Dean of the College of Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences, and Education and the Educator Preparation Program (EPP) faculty and partner schools to continue the aspirational goals of the ForwARd Arkansas initiative. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.

Required Education and Experience: Ph.D., EdD, or Related Terminal Degree; Achieved Associate or Full Professor Rank; Administrative experience in higher education.

Preferred Education and Experience: Experience with securing and managing grants and contracts; K-12 teaching experience; experience as program coordinator, department chair, school director or other administrative positions in higher education.
