Similarly, the College of Education is interested in candidates who have experience in and commitment to preparing scholar practitioners as change agents, to lead the transformation of complex systems and organizations through scholarly inquiry and the resolution of problems of practice and policy in educational settings. The position requires experience as a campus principal or senior district administrative leadership with knowledge of principal competencies, requirements of the principal internship/practicum, and knowledge of TExES and the Performance Assessment for School Leaders (PASL).
The successful candidate will be expected to teach masters and doctoral courses (offered at the UNT campus and other off-site locations and online); advise graduate students and supervise graduate students in internships as needed; serve on and chair doctoral committees; and provide service to the Department, College, University, community constituencies, and professional organizations. Summer teaching is contingent on student demand and funding.
