Essential Job Functions
- Conducts a requisite number of classes
- Develop and deliver engaging, research-based instruction in assigned subject areas
- Provides guidance and supervision to students including, but not limited to maintaining regular communication with students
- Creates and maintains an environment conducive to excellence in teaching, learning and research
- Preparation and formulation of curricula focused on his/her subject(s)
- Participates in departmental meetings and holds scheduled office hours
- Provides academic support to other faculty members
- Serves on departmental and University committees, as assigned
- Other related duties, as assigned

Qualifications
- Doctor of Philosophy in Education or related field
- Five (5) years of teaching or education leadership experience in K-12 or higher education, with a focus on curriculum development, instructional design, and teacher leadership.
