The School of Aviation at Auburn University invites applications for a 9-month, non-tenure track, limited term contingent on funding Lecturer position (a total of 4 positions could be hired from the applicant pool). We are seeking applications from individuals with a minimum of a master’s degree at the time of employment in any area of aviation or a related field.
The primary responsibility of a successful candidate for this position will be to teach a selection of undergraduate aviation management courses. Under typical circumstances, the teaching load will be four courses per semester, which includes course development. Additional teaching opportunities in the summer may also be available and are subject to the availability of funds. In addition to instructional duties, successful candidates will contribute to the organizational mission of the School of Aviation through possible participation in student organizations, annual conferences, and other development opportunities.
This position is part of a group hire to build a foundation of full-time faculty within the School of Aviation. We seek a colleague who can help build the program and contribute to our commitment to train the next generation of aviation professionals.
