Lie in the fields of teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL) and language/s teacher education. Their primary focus is on sociocultural, social-political, and socio-educational issues that affect teaching and learning of English and other languages. My work contributes to solving international language education issues as they relate to practice and policy, and the Australian strategic research priority of maximising individuals' economic and social participation.
