The areas of design for learning and new media & technology, where I explore relationships between knowledge, physical and digital resources, and human interaction, searching for how these combine to form productive learning networks. The main drive for my research is to produce knowledge in a form that can be reused to improve the work of those involved in designing engaging educational opportunities in both formal and informal learning settings.
