  • Dr. Ajlouni obtained his Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction (Computer Education) from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln (USA); his M.Sc .in Statistics and Evaluation from the University of Jordan in 1991, and his B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science from Yarmouk University in 1983. He is also recipient of a Diploma in Education from the University of Jordan in 1987

    Before joining the Arab Open University, he was Associate Professor in the Faculty of Educational Sciences at the University of Jordan.

    He served as Director of the Global Development Learning Network Centre (GDLN) – Atheer, University of Jordan from 2003 – 2006.

    Earlier, he was National Consultant for Monitoring and Assessment of the Implementation of Information and Comunication Technology in Jordanian Schools.

    He was Team Member in the Distance Learning Project at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, in1994, and Team Member in the visibility study for establishing the Arab Open University, 1997 -1998. He also supervised the staff evaluation process at the University of Jordan, 1997 – 1998; 2002 – 2006.

    Dr. Ajlouni attended several workshops and published several research papers in the field of his specialisation in refereed research journals inside and outside Jordan
