His interests are reflected in recent publications and current research activities. They include, among others: the administration of schools with diverse student populations; leadership; inclusion, social justice and equity; micropolitics and leadership; philosophy and theory in educational administration; research methods; social, critical and postmodern theory; and various organizational approaches to schooling. His books include Race and Ethnicity in Multiethnic Schools, Leading Diverse Schools and Inclusive Leadership.
