Expertise: His research interests are in computational science and is currently serving as a charter board member on the Great Lakes Consortium for Petascale Computation (GLCPC) based at the University of Illinois. The highlight of his teaching career occurred in October 2007 when he was an invited visitor to the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton for a workshop in astrophysics.
