His major research interests review the history of conflict between the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and the National Collegiate Athletic Association and intercollegiate athletic association affiliation related to the following topics: 1) the legitimacy of organizations; 2) social identity theory and social mobility; and 3) potential benefits received. He also has research interests in accounting policies and procedures and taxation implications within collegiate and professional sport.
