Expertise: I study college affordability and degree completion. I am particularly interested in understanding the college experiences and outcomes of lower-income students. My research focuses on community colleges, financial aid, and higher education policy. The overarching goal of my research is to aid in the development of public policies and institutional practices that significantly increase the rates of success among students from less advantaged backgrounds.
